Tributes

When the occasion calls for a special remembrance, a contribution to the North Valley Jewish Community Center (“The-J” Your Jewish Community Center) expresses your message in a compassionate, caring way.

Contribute in honor of a birthday, anniversary, and bar or bat Mitzvah, wedding, holiday, in memory of a loved one or to say thank you. Make a contribution to NVJCC, Inc. and send a meaningful card of your choice.

Choose from among the following: Thank You, Mazel Tov, In Honor, Get Well, Generic, In Memory, and Happy Birthday.

Estate Planning - How You Can Support The-J Today and Into the Future

There are many different ways to support The-J, but Heritage gifts will allow future generations of our Jewish community to receive the same exceptional programs and services as are provided today.  By becoming a Heritage gift member, in designating The-J, as a beneficiary of your estates, reaffirm the personal values manifested in the daily activities of The-J.

By planning a charitable gift, you can accomplish two tangible goals at once: ensuring that the  excellent programming and services provided by The-J will continue; and so there will a place for the non-affiliated to express their Jewish Heritage and Identity. We hope you will join our family and thus enable future generations to avail themselves of all the wonderful experiences and programming. We hope you find this site helpful as you learn more about supporting The-J in a way that works for you.

Tzedakah -- Is the greatest gift we have, time?  Or, is it our ability to help?

This page is dedicated to some of the ways you can give, so that your Center, that entity that provides an entry to Jewish culture, history and our rich traditions to non-affiliated Jews, can survive. Come join our Jewish family and community.

Help the entity provides the social, recreational and educational activities for the Jewish Community. Help the Center in ways that will help you express your passions about social action and civic duties. Help the Center to enable you to actively seek and find the level of commitment that fits your needs and wants. Become active in the Center that allows you to make lifelong friendships. Your Center creates programs to help the needy, feed the hungry and networks with other organizations and institutions to provide a broader base of services

Your Jewish Community Center is the place

Where people have met, shook hands, laughed, danced, cried and after 50 years

their friendship still thrives.

Where you can express your communal life by helping others, creating a home for those who are unaffiliated, by carrying on the tradition and culture of the Jewish people.

Where you can express your values and ethics through a variety of programs for people of all ages.

“The-J” Your NEW Jewish Community Center

Please take a moment to read about the generosity of many community organizations and business that provide dollars,

“not for donuts” but for PEOPLE.  For the Center are its PEOPLE, its FAMILY, and its COMMUNITY.

Sincerely,

The Family of Members of the Center
